Engine Block Disassemble




1. Remove the oil pressure switch (1).




2. Remove the bolt (1) and the oil pressure control valve.
3. Remove the spring (3) and piston (2).
4. Clean the components.
5. Inspect the components.
6. Clean the thread (4).




7. Remove the oil pan.
8. Remove the bolt (1) and the excess pressure valve.
9. Remove the spring (2) and piston (3).
10. Clean the components.
11. Inspect the components.
12. Clean the thread.




13. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (3).
14. Unclip the wiring harness (2) from the bracket.
15. Remove the mixture regulator oxygen sensor (1).
16. Remove the crankshaft pulse pick-up.




17. Disconnect the catalytic converter control oxygen sensor wiring harness plug.
18. Unclip the wiring harness plug (1) from the bracket.
19. Remove the 2 bolts (3).
20. Remove the intake manifold support (2).




21. Remove the knock sensor wiring harness plug (1).
22. Remove the knock sensor bolt (2) and the knock sensor.




23. Disconnect the wiring harness plug (2).
24. Unlock the retaining clamp (1).
25. Remove the coolant temperature sensor.
