Water Pump Installation




1. Clean the sealing surfaces and the 3 coolant pump threads.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the coolant pump (2) and 5 NEW bolts and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
3. Install the coolant pump strap disc and 3 NEW bolts.
4. Install the ribbed V-belt.
5. Attach the coolant pump belt pulley and tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
6. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
7. Install the air cleaner housing.
