Tire Pressure Indicator Receiver Replacement

Removal Procedure





Note: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit, carry out a Reset using the Tech 2. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning).

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.

1. Remove the 4 bolts (1).
2. Disconnect the wiring harness plug.




2. Remove the tire pressure indicator (1) receiver.

1. Disconnect the pressure indicator receiver bracket (2) from the crossmember.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
3. Disconnect the indicator receiver from bracket.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the tire pressure indicator receiver.

1. Install the indicator receiver into the bracket.
2. Connect the wiring harness plugs.
3. Install the indicator receiver bracket to the crossmember.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the I/P compartment.
Connect the wiring harness plugs.

Tighten the 4 bolts to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
