Rear Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement (Sedan)
Removal Procedure
Note: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit, carry out a "Reset" with TECH 2. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning).
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Service Precautions).
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Open the service flap.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness plug for the rear electrical center.
Disconnect the 6 wiring harness plugs (1, 3).
4. Release the rear electrical center.
Remove the nut (arrow).
Note: Only for vehicles with park pilot control unit.
Note: Please pay attention to this when replacing the rear electrical center. The rear electrical center contains the maximum number of relays and fuses. The rear electrical center will contain surplus relays and fuses.
5. Remove the rear electrical center.
Disconnect the park pilot control unit (2).
Installation Procedure
Note: Only for vehicles with park pilot control unit.
1. Insert the rear electrical center.
Install the park pilot control unit.
2. Install the rear electrical center.
Tighten the nut.
3. Connect the wiring harness plug for the rear electrical center.
Connect the 6 wiring harness plugs.
4. Close the service flap.
5. Connect the battery.
Note: When replacing the electrical center, after fitting the control unit, carry out a Program with TECH 2. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning).
