2-4 Band Servo Piston Installation




1. Install the 2nd and 4th gear band servo piston spring (55) and 2nd and 4th gear band servo piston (58) with cover.
2. Using snap ring pliers, install the 2nd and 4th gear band servo cover retaining ring (62).




3. Measure the 2nd and 4th gear band servo piston pin-selective stroke. Pin stroke 2.659-3.141 mm (0.105-0.124 in).
4. If the pin stroke is out of specifications, choose appropriate pin with the right length. Refer to 2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Selection (2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Selection).




5. Install the 2nd and 4th gear band servo piston and cover O-ring seal (57) to the 2nd and 4th gear band servo cover (63).
6. Install the 2nd and 4th gear band servo cover (63).
7. Using snap ring pliers, install the 2nd and 4th gear band servo cover retaining ring (62).
