2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Measurement

SA9179NE - Dial Indicator

1. Assembly the SA9179NE - dial indicator in a vertical position as shown.
2. Set the blind bolt to the hole in the next figure shown.





Note: Do not measure when the valve body is assembled in the transmission case.

3. Measure the rod stroke applying and releasing the compressed air 392 KPa (56 psi) to hole (2) if the rod stroke is within the specifications. Rod Stroke 2.659-3.141 mm (0.105-0.124 in).




4. If the rod stroke is out of specifications, choose appropriate rod with the right length. Refer to 2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Selection (2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Selection).
