Transmission Fluid Pump Installation




1. Coat a NEW fluid pump body O-ring seal (185) with ATF, install it to the transmission fluid pump assembly (2).




2. Place the fluid pump assembly (2) with the thrust washer through the input shaft in the horizontal position and align the bolt holes of the pump body with the transaxle case. Lightly press the oil pump body.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

Note: The input shaft must rotate smoothly.

3. Install the 6 fluid pump to case bolts (5) and tighten evenly. Tighten bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
