Transmission Fluid Pump Removal

Special Tools

J 45053 - Universal Clamp Press

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Tools and Equipment).




1. Remove the 6 fluid pump bolts (5).





Note: Be careful not to damage the stator shaft bushing.

2. Using J 45053 - clamp press , remove the fluid pump assembly (2) from the transmission case.




3. Remove the fluid pump body O-ring seal (185) from the fluid pump assembly (2).
