Rear Washer Hose Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Service Precautions).

1. Disconnect the battery.




2. Remove the liftgate garnish molding - left side.

* Remove the luggage shade bracket.
* Release the 4 clips.

3. Remove the liftgate garnish molding - right side.

* Remove the luggage shade bracket.
* Release the 4 clips.

4. Lower the headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair).




5. Remove the hose up to the liftgate boot.
Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).




6. Expose the hose.

* Remove the boot (1) at the liftgate.
* Expose the washer/wiper system hose.
* Cut the duct tape at (2, 3).




7. Disconnect and remove the hose.

* Disconnect the hose at the center pillar (1).
* Remove the hose.
* Release the 5 clips (2, 3).





Note: Fasten new hose to old hose with adhesive tape.

8. Remove the hose.
Pull the new hose with the old hose.

Installation Procedure

1. Route and connect the hose.
2. Install the headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the liftgate garnish molding - right side.

* Install the 4 clips.
* Fasten the luggage shade bracket.

4. Install the liftgate garnish molding - left side.

* Install the 4 clips.
* Fasten the luggage shade bracket.

5. Connect the battery.
6. For reprogramming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning).
