EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH
(a) Install the seal with the 3 clips.
2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH
(a) Install the seal with the 3 clips.
3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
(a) Attach the 4 clips to install the retainer.
(b) Install the 3 screws.
Torque: 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
(a) Attach the 4 clips to install the retainer.
(b) Install the 3 screws.
Torque: 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)
5. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Install the reinforcement with the 4 nuts.
6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SHIELD BRACKET CENTER
7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER

(a) Put protective tape under the quarter panel.
(b) Attach the 14 claws to install the bumper cover.
HINT: The illustration only shows the LH side of the vehicle. The remaining claws are on the RH side.
