SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY






(a) Detach the seat cushion's 2 front hooks from the vehicle body.
NOTE: Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.
(1) Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.
(2) Repeat for the other hook.






(b) Remove the inner belts through the slits on the seat cushion.
(c) Detach the seat cushion's 2 rear hooks from the seatback. Then remove the seat cushion.
4. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD Removal

5. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR COVER






(a) Detach the 12 claws and remove the 3 anchor covers as shown in the illustration.
6. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR BRACKET
(a) Remove the 3 bolts and 3 anchor brackets.
7. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD Removal

8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Fully fold the seatback forward.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seatback.
(c) Return the seatback to the upright position.
(d) Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seatback. Then remove the seatback.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH






(a) Remove the bolt and rear seat outer belt floor anchor.
(b) Fully fold the seatback forward.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seatback.
(d) Return the seatback to the upright position.
(e) Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seatback. Then remove the seatback.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK
(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the claws and remove the 2 lock hooks.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

11. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
(b) Partially remove the floor carpet, and remove the 4 bolts and seat leg.
