E350 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: FLOOR SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL UPPER Removal

3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER Removal

4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

5. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 clips, and disconnect the cable ends of the control.






(b) Using a screwdriver, release the cable locks of the shift cable and select cable.






(c) Turn the lock nuts 180° counterclockwise, and hold them in that position to remove the shift cable and select cable.
NOTE: Do not push in the cable locks.





6. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 4 bolts and shift lever.
