Reassembly

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper hole cover.

2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER LH

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the front bumper guard cover.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Attach the 16 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

6. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

7. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Attach the 10 claws to install the radiator grille.

(b) Install the 2 clips.

8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

(a) Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

9. INSTALL FRONT HOOD TO END PANEL SEAL

HINT
When installing the front hood to end panel seal, heat the front bumper cover using a heat light.

Standard:





NOTICE:
Do not heat the front bumper cover excessively.

(a) When using a new front bumper cover:

(1) Clean the surface of a new front bumper cover.

(2) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.

(b) When reusing the front bumper cover:

(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(c) Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new front hood to end panel seal and apply double-sided tape to the front bumper.

HINT
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(d) Install the front hood to end panel with the 4 clips.
