Reassembly





SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE: SLIDING ROOF HOUSING: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SLIDE ROOF RAIL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Insert the sliding roof drive cable into the sliding roof cable guide casing, and then insert the sliding roof cable guide casing into the sliding roof guide rail as shown in the illustration.

(b) Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the sliding roof cable guide casing with the 2 screws.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)





(c) Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the No. 1 sliding roof housing panel sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)





(d) Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof shoe sub-assembly into the sliding roof cable guide casing as shown in the illustration (fully closed state).

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. ADJUST FULLY CLOSED POSITION

(a) Slide the sliding roof shoe sub-assembly and align matchmark B with matchmark A.

3. INSTALL SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Slide the 4 runners (2 on each side) as shown in the illustration to insert them into the sliding roof guide rail and install the sunshade trim sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
* Make sure that the shade assembly can slide back and forth.

* Make sure that the sunshade trim sub-assembly is securely inserted into the sliding roof guide rail.

(b) Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 4 screws.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
