SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING COVER LH

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

(b) Detach the guide and remove the reclining cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and guide, and then remove the lock striker cover.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disconnect the 2 cables as shown in the illustration, and then remove the control lever.

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Detach the 2 guides and remove the hole cover from the seatback cover.

8. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP

(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the anchor cover cap.

(b) Disconnect the outer belt from the hole cover.

9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH

(a) Remove the 7 hog rings.

(b) Open the 2 fasteners, and then open the seatback cover.

(d) Move the seatback board in the direction of the arrow to detach the 3 guides and remove the seatback board.

(e) Detach the 8 claws and remove the 4 headrest supports.

(f) Disconnect the outer belt from the seatback cover with pad.

(g) Detach the 2 guides and remove the seatback cover with pad from the seatback frame.

10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH

(a) Detach the hook.

(b) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover.

11. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE MALE COVER LH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the male cover.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

12. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE MALE COVER RH

(a) Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the guide and remove the cover.

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE MALE COVER RH

(a) Detach the guide and remove the male cover.

14. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER

(a) Detach the 2 claws and guide, and then remove the shoulder belt cover.

16. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE

(a) Remove the 2 control cables as shown in the illustration.

17. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH

18. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

(b) Detach the guide and remove the reclining cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

19. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

(b) Detach the guide and remove the reclining cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

20. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and guide, and then remove the lock striker cover.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

21. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disconnect the 2 cables as shown in the illustration, and then remove the control lever.

22. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH

(a) Remove the 5 hog rings.

(b) Open the 2 fasteners, and then open the seatback cover.

(d) Move the seatback board in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 guides and remove the seatback board.

(e) Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

(f) Detach the 2 guides and remove the seatback cover with pad from the seatback frame.

23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH

(a) Detach the hook.

(b) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover.
