Removal

SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

1. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) Removal

2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH Removal

4. REMOVE JACK ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

7. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY





(a) Detach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion from the vehicle body.

NOTICE:
Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.

(1) Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration, and then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.

(2) Repeat the step above for the other hook.

(b) Detach the rear hook of the seat cushion from the seatback frame.

(c) Remove the inner belts through the slits on the seat cushion.

(d) Remove the seat cushion.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the bolt, disconnect the anchor part of the outer belt and remove the rear seat 3 point type belt.





(b) Fully fold the seatback forward.

(c) Remove the 3 bolts on the rear side of the seatback.





(d) Return the seatback to the upright position.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seatback, and then remove the seatback.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Fully fold the seatback forward.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seatback.

(c) Return the seatback to the upright position.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seatback, and then remove the seatback.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK





(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 lock hooks.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
