DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN communication.

Pressing the VSC OFF switch turns off traction control and pressing and holding the switch turns off traction and VSC control. If VSC control turns off, the VSC OFF indicator light comes on.

NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform calibration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ABS Warning Light Remains ON

A -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH TRAC OFF Indicator Light Remains ON

NG -- REPLACE VSC OFF SWITCH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - VSC OFF SWITCH) TRAC OFF Indicator Light Remains ON

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (TRAC/VSC OFF MODE) TRAC OFF Indicator Light Remains ON

NG -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING) How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
