1. CUSTOMIZE METER / GAUGE SYSTEM

HINT
The following items can be customized.

NOTICE:
* When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
* Record the current settings before customizing.

(a) Customizing with the Techstream

(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(3) Turn the Techstream on.

(4) Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Warning or Unit Conversion.

(5) Select the setting by referring to the table below.





* *: This setting is only valid for the buzzer which sounds at 20 km/h (12 mph) or more.

(b) Customizing eco driving indicator light

HINT
* The eco driving indicator light can be deactivated through the customize function.
* When the eco driving indicator light is deactivated, the initial check for the eco driving indicator light is not performed by the system.

(1) Press the ODO/TRIP switch to display the eco driving indicator light setting display.





(2) Press and hold the ODO/TRIP switch and select "EcoOFF".

HINT
* The initial setting is "Eco On".
* The eco driving indicator light can be activated by selecting "Eco On".

(c) Customizing racing function

The racing function is a function by which the meter ECU moves needles to their maximum position and returns them to zero when the ignition switch is turned ON.

HINT
* "S-OFF" indicates that the function is off. "S-on" indicates that the function is on. The setting of the racing function to on/off will be finished (the TRIP A meter will display TRIP A) if the ODO/TRIP switch is not operated for 5 seconds or more after racing function setting mode begins. In this case, perform procedure "B" to check that the setting of the function to on/off complete. If it is not complete, start from procedure "A" again.

(1) Turn the ignition switch to ON (Procedure "A").

(2) Press the ODO/TRIP switch until the ODO meter appears.

(3) Turn the ignition switch off.

(4) Press the ODO/TRIP switch and hold it down.

(5) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(6) Keep pressing the ODO/TRIP switch for 5 seconds or more.

(7) Release the ODO/TRIP switch.

(8) Check that the TRIP A meter displays either "S-on" or "S-OFF".





Press the ODO/TRIP switch to change the display between "S-on" and "S-OFF".

Turn the ignition switch off, and then to ON. Then check that each needle operates according to the racing function setting (Procedure B).
