Operation Check





WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM: OPERATION CHECK

1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)





(a) Check that the passenger side power window cannot be operated when the window lock switch of the power window regulator master switch is pressed.

OK:

Passenger side power window operation is disabled.

(b) Check that the passenger side power window can be operated when the window lock switch is pressed again.

OK:

Passenger side power window can be operated.

2. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION

(a) Check that the driver side power window operates as follows:

(b) Check that the passenger side power window operates as follows:

OK:





3. CHECK AUTO DOWN FUNCTION

(a) Check that the driver side power window operates as follows:

OK:





4. CHECK REMOTE MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION

(a) Check that the passenger side power window operates as follows:

OK:





5. CHECK POWER WINDOW OPERATION FUNCTION AFTER IGNITION SWITCH IS TURNED OFF (DRIVER DOOR POWER WINDOW)

(a) Check that all the power windows can be operated with the power window regulator master switch after the ignition switch has been turned off.

(b) Check that the key-off operation function does not operate after the driver, passenger is closed and opened.

(c) Check that the driver side and passenger side door power windows cannot be operated after more than approximately 43 seconds have elapsed after the ignition switch is turned off.
