The running light relay assembly receives headlight dimmer switch assembly information to control the high beam headlight indicator.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FUSE - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the C36 combination meter assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - RUNNING LIGHT RELAY ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the C52 running light relay assembly connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

(a) Reconnect the C36 combination meter assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
