Reassembly

SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side): REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the rear seat cushion frame and the rear seatback frame could cause injuries to your hands.

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear seat track with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 33 Nm (335 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the rear seat track with the 3 nuts.

Torque : 33 Nm (335 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear side seat cushion leg sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 14 Nm (138 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT SLIDE CONTROL CABLE

(a) Install the 5 clips.

(b) Install the rear seat slide control cable as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE

(a) Install the rear seat reclining control cable as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

(b) Tighten the screw.

7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING INSIDE COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat reclining inside cover.

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING OUTSIDE COVER LH

(a) Install the rear seat reclining outside cover with the screw.

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING OUTSIDE COVER RH

(a) Install the rear seat reclining outside cover with the 2 screws.

11. INSTALL REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY COVER

(a) Install the rear seat under tray cover with the 6 clips.

12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear seatback cover pad.

(b) Install the rear seat belt hook with the bolt.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (50 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(e) Install the 2 rear seatback bands.

13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

(a) Align the protruding portion of the rear seat headrest support with the installation groove of the rear seatback frame.

(b) Engage the 8 claws and install the 4 rear seat headrest support.

HINT
Use the same procedure to install all the rear seat headrest supports.

14. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the rear seat reclining control cable and the rear seat slide control cable, and then install the rear seat lock control lever.

(b) Tighten the 2 screws.

15. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK STRIKER COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat lock striker cover.

16. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Center Seat Headrest)

(a) Push in the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear center seat headrest.

17. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

(a) Push in the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear seat headrest.

18. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 8 hooks and install the rear seat cushion cover pad.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings.

19. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear seat cushion with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 20 Nm (205 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the spacer into the bolt.

(c) Using "TORX" socket wrench T45, tighten the bolt.

Torque : 21 Nm (215 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)

20. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE COVER

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat side hinge cover.

21. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear seat inner belt with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not place the anchor plate over the convex area of the rear seat back frame.

(b) Install the belt into the band.

22. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear seat inner belt with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not place the anchor plate over the convex areas of the rear seat back frame.

(b) Install the belt into the band.
