Reassembly

SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side): REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the rear seat cushion frame and the rear seatback frame could cause injuries to your hands.

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear seat track with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 33 Nm (335 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the rear seat track with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 33 Nm (335 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear side seat cushion leg sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 14 Nm (138 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT SLIDE CONTROL CABLE

(a) Install the 3 clips.

(b) Install the rear seat slide control cable as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE

(a) Install the rear seat reclining control cable as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER

(a) Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster inside cover.

(b) Tighten the screw.

7. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat reclining inside cover.

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat reclining inside cover.

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING OUTSIDE COVER RH

(a) Install the rear seat reclining outside cover with the screw.

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING OUTSIDE COVER LH

(a) Install the rear seat reclining outside cover with the screw.

11. INSTALL REAR SEAT UNDER TRAY COVER

(a) Install the rear seat under tray cover with the 4 clips.

12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the rear seatback cover pad.

(b) Fasten the 2 zippers.

(d) Install the rear seatback band.

13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

HINT
Use the same procedure for both sides.

(a) Align the protruding portion of the rear seat headrest support with the installation groove of the rear seatback frame.

(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

14. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the rear seat reclining control cable and the rear seat slide control cable, and then install the rear seat lock control lever.

(b) Tighten the 2 screws.

15. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK STRIKER COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat lock striker cover.

16. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

(a) Push in the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear seat headrest.

17. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 7 hooks and install the rear seat cushion cover pad.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

18. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the bolts into the spacers.

(b) Using "TORX" socket wrench T45, install the rear seat cushion with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 21 Nm (215 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)

19. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE COVER

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat side hinge cover.
