Installation

BRAKE: REAR BRAKE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE

(a) Provisionally install the hub nuts.

(b) Remove the hole plug, and turn the adjuster to expand the shoe until the drum locks.





(c) Using a screwdriver, release the adjuster 11 notches.

(d) Install the hole plug.

3. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID Service and Repair

4. BLEED MASTER CYLINDER Service and Repair

5. BLEED BRAKE LINE Service and Repair

6. BLEED BRAKE ACTUATOR Service and Repair

7. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR Service and Repair

8. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK

9. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)

10. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL Adjustments

11. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL Adjustments

12. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET Installation

14. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER Installation

15. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL Installation

16. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) Installation
