Installation





AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY





(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the cooler condenser into the vehicle.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the condenser or radiator when installing the condenser.

HINT
If a new cooler condenser is installed, add compressor oil to the condenser as follows.

Capacity:

Add 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz.)

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL8 or equivalent.

2. CONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A





(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the pipe and the connecting part of the cooler condenser.

(b) Apply sufficient compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the tube joint.

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL8 or equivalent

(c) Install the O-ring onto the air conditioning tube.

(d) Install the air conditioning tube onto the cooler condenser with the bolt.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

3. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE





(a) Remove the attached vinyl tape from the hose and the connecting part of the cooler condenser.

(b) Apply sufficient compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the hose joint.

Compressor oil:

ND-OIL8 or equivalent

(c) Install the O-ring onto the discharge hose.

(d) Install the discharge hose onto the cooler condenser with the bolt.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

9. INSPECT HOOD Adjustments

10. ADJUST HOOD Adjustments

11. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

12. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair

13. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK Service and Repair
