SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

1. ILLUMINATION CONTROL SYSTEM (Illuminated entry system):

* The illuminated entry system provides convenience when getting in or out of the vehicle at night. This system controls the room light.

* This function is controlled by the main body ECU. The operation and condition of this control are described below.





2. DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT SYSTEM

* This system is directly connected to the low-beam headlights and is designed to automatically activate the daytime running lights in order to increase the visibility of the vehicle.

(a) The running light relay assembly receives the following signals.

* Ignition switch signal

* Generator signal

* Parking brake switch signal

* Light control switch signal

(b) The running light relay assembly controls the on/off operation of the following parts.

* Headlight (Low-beam)
