DESCRIPTION
When the volume of washer fluid decreases below a certain level (when the washer fluid level warning switch in turned ON), the combination meter warns the driver through illumination of the master warning light.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the A22 washer fluid level warning switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH - BODY GROUND)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH - COMBINATION METER)
(a) Disconnect the F1 combination meter connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
(c) Reconnect the combination meter connector.
(d) Reconnect the washer fluid level warning switch connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Removal
