Disassemble

Fig.1 Carbureter exploded view.:





1. Remove throttle return spring, Fig. 1.
2. Remove accelerator pump lever shaft screw, pump lever, washer and spring washer.
3. Remove cam connecting rod, cotter pins and washers.

NOTE: Do not disturb accelerator pump connecting rod.

4. Detach choke wiring from clamp.
5. Remove choke secondary diaphragm, then remove choke chamber and gasket.
6. Remove anti-dieseling solenoid.
7. Remove snap ring, then remove secondary diaphragm.
8. Separate float chamber from throttle chamber.
9. Remove accelerator pump piston and cover.
10. Remove float shaft and float with needle, then remove needle valve case.
11. Remove primary slow air bleed.
12. Remove switch vent solenoid and O-rings.
13. Remove piston return spring, ball and injector weight.
14. Remove primary and secondary slow air bleeds.
15. Remove primary plugs, then remove primary and secondary slow jets.
16. Remove power valve.
17. Remove throttle and idle adjusting screws and springs.
18. Remove nut and components from throttle shaft.
