1) Fill the brake fluid reservoir to its indicated maximum capacity line.

2) Starting with the Left Front wheel, place a tube on the bleeder screw, then place the tube into a clear container of brake fluid.

3) Slowly apply the brake pedal until it stops.

4) Release the bleeder screw for 1 to 2 seconds, then tighten the screw.

5) Slowly release the brake pedal.

6) Allow 3 to 4 seconds between each brake pedal application.

NOTE: Perform Steps 3-6 twice on each wheel.
7) After bleeding the Left Front wheel, proceed to the Right Rear, Right Front, then ending on the Left Rear. (See Figure 1).

Air Bleeder Torque 5-6 ft.lbs.
8) Be sure to add brake fluid to the master cylinder as necessary. Not doing so may allow air to enter the brake system.

9) When all four wheels have been bled and the master cylinder has been filled, apply the brake pedal for approximately 20 seconds.

10) Should the pedal drop to less than 95 mm from the floor, fade, or feel spongy, the brake system must be bled again, using the same procedure.

11) As a final step, test drive the vehicle at low speed and apply the brakes relatively hard 2 to 3 times to ensure that the brakes provide normal braking on all four wheels without dragging or uneven braking.
