SUBJECT: THE ADDITION OF A SEASONAL WIPER SELECTOR SWITCH
THIS SERVICE BULLETIN IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY

XT Coupe models produced from the middle of December, 1985 and on are equipped with a seasonal wiper selector switch part number 83033GA020. The new switch is located above the front hood lock release lever. This rocker type switch has two positions, normal and winter. In the normal position the wiper will park on the cowl the same as XT Coupe models without the new switch. In the winter position the wiper will park on the windshield approximately three inches above the normal park position, to prevent the wiper blades from freezing to the cowl area and make removal of ice and snow from the windshield and cowl easier.
