Disassemble

1. Remove choke vacuum hose from choke vacuum unit, Fig. 1.
2. Remove fuel line inner and outer clamps.
3. Remove fuel line attaching bolt, then remove fuel line assembly and gaskets.
4. Remove attaching bolts, then remove idle solenoid from body casting.
5. Remove fuel line bracket.
6. Remove feedback solenoid, spacer and gasket.
7. Remove bowl vent solenoid and gasket, then remove pick-up armature and spring from solenoid
8. Disconnect the connector rod.
9. Remove seven air horn to body casting screws, then lift air horn from casting.
10. Lift float from float hinge pin.
11. Remove air horn gasket.
12. Remove fuel inlet needle pin, spring and needle from air horn assembly.
13. Remove needle seat, gasket and filter from air horn assembly.
14. Remove metering rod lifter link, rod and spring from body casting.
15. Remove accelerator pump delivery hose.
16. Using main jet driver 498167100, remove main jet.
17. Remove accelerator pump housing attaching screw, then remove accelerator pump assembly from body casting.
18. Remove accelerator pump discharge check ball and weight.
19. Remove four attaching screws, then separate body from flange.
20. Remove flange gasket, tamperproof pin and idle mixture screw and spring.
