VIII. VIOLATIONS

Any person who violates section 607 of title VI by manufacturing, selling or offering for sale or introducing into interstate commerce, a vehicle or part without the required labels or markings, may be assessed a civil penalty of $1000.00 for each violation. (Up to a maximum of $250,000.00).

Additionally, any named part or any vehicle containing a named part subject to the theft prevention standard that is determined to be in non-compliance can be prohibited from being sold.
