Installation of the Cable Assembly

FIGURE 4:

1. Install the upper corner clip to the slide rail and route the cable through the pulley. See Figure 4.

CAUTION: Only remove the rubber band stoppers which prevent the cable from unwinding on the spool when both the upper and lower clips are attached to the slide rail and the cable is finished being routed.
NOTE: It may be necessary to file the opening for the upper corner clip so the slide rail can accept the modified clip.

2. Install the lower clip to the slide rail and route the cable through it. See Figure 5.

NOTE: If the lower clip is broken or worn replace it with a new one. See the component parts chart on the first page.

3. Install the cable inner lock to the regulator slide by moving the inner lock with a pair of pliers until it lines up with the opening on the slide. Then install the inner lock holder clip using a pair of pliers. See Figure 6.

NOTE: If the inner lock holder clip is broken replace it with a new one. See the component parts chart on the first page.
