1. Jumper the check connector terminals, as shown in Fig. 9.
2. Perform the following steps within one minute:
a. Turn ignition switch off, turn height selector switch on, then turn the ignition switch on.
b. Turn ignition switch off, turn height selector switch off, then turn the ignition switch on.
c. Turn ignition switch off, turn height selector switch on, then turn the ignition switch on. The self diagnosis system is activated.
3. The diagnostic code(s) can be read by the number of blinks of the vehicle height indicator, Fig. 10.
4. Determine fault code as specified under DIAGNOSTIC CODE TROUBLESHOOTING CHARTS and procedd to relevant A or B TESTS.
5. Return diagnostic system to the normal mode by turning the ignition switch off, and then on. If fault is not eliminated, the vehicle indicator will illuminate.
6. Reset memory by disconnecting battery negative cable.
7. Remove check connector jumper wire.
