1. Turn ignition switch on, ground check connector terminal, and check solenoid for operation, Fig. 30 & 31.
2. Each time solenoid activates, system circuit is interrupted. To check again turn ignition switch off and on.
3. Turn ignition switch on, check solenoid on ABS control unit side.
4. Attach circuit tester positive probe to circuits corresponding with solenoid, then attach ground probe to ground and measure voltages. Voltage reading should be 0 volts. Check each trouble code as follows:
a. Trouble Code 1, on models except SVX, connector P12 terminal 2 to ground. On SVX models, connector R7 terminal 2 to ground.
b. Trouble Code 2, on models except SVX, connector P12 terminal 35 to ground. On SVX models, connector R7 terminal 35 to ground
c. Trouble Code 3, on models except SVX, connector P12 terminal 19 to ground. On SVX models, connector R7 terminal 19 to ground.
d. Trouble code 4, on models except SVX, connector P12 terminal 18 to ground. On models except SVX, connector R7 terminal 18 to ground.
