Input Signal of Sensor to ABS Control Unit
1. Disconnect connector, then raise and support vehicle.2. Measure voltage between ABS control unit terminals according to Trouble Codes. For Trouble Code 7 measure between terminals 24 and 26, Trouble Code 8 between terminals seven and nine. Voltage specifications should be between 200 and 300 mV at a creep with automatic transmission.
3. Disconnect ABS control unit connector P12 on except SVX models or connector R7 on SVX models, measure resistance between sensor and ground on terminals 9 and 26. Resistance should be one M ohm minimum.
4. To check sensor resistance measure between terminals one and two for Trouble Code 7 and 8. Resistance should be .8-1.3 k ohms.
5. Measure resistance between connector P20 terminal 1 and connector P26 terminal 1 and ground on except SVX models. On SVX models, measure between connector R36 terminal 1 and connector P18 terminal one and ground. Resistance should be at least one M ohm.
