Lateral Accelerometer: Testing and Inspection

1. Check continuity in G sensor by positioning vehicle on a flat surface. Disconnect and disassemble ABS connector.
2. Measure resistance between connector P12 terminal 1 and 16. Resistance should be between 550 and 670 ohms.
3. Check G sensor by measuring resistance between G sensor terminals, resistance should be 550 to 670 ohms. Ensure G sensor is horizontal.
4. Check harness between ABS and G sensor by turning ignition switch on, then connect G sensor connector.
5. Measure Voltage between connector B23 terminal 1, connector P12 terminal 16, to ground. Voltage should be between 10 to 12 volts.
