93MY Legacy "SRS" Airbag Light Stays on

If you encounter a Legacy with the "airbag" light on all the time, make sure you check the double-lock connectors AB2 and AB7 behind the airbag module in the steering wheel. If the connectors are not double locked the supplemental restraint system control in the console may not show any codes but the light will stay "on".
