When using tool P/N 498677010 to compress the servo retainer to remove the snap ring, take care to only compress as much as necessary. Many people have a tendency to really crank down on the tool, and with the way it's designed, the cast aluminum leg breaks close to the threaded insert. You just want to take the pressure off to get the snap ring out.
