Refer to Figs. 1 through 6 when removing and installing the dash panel.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove the steering wheel from steering column.
2. Remove glove compartment, then defroster duct.
3. Disconnect heater control cable from inside/outside air selector rod from heater unit.
4. Disconnect speedometer cable, then electrical connectors.
5. Remove instrument panel retaining bolt covers.
6. Remove retaining bolts, then instrument panel from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
