Clearing Trouble Codes

After making necessary repairs, clear trouble code memory as follows:

Fig. 4 Diagnosis Connector:

1. Ensure ignition switch is On (with engine Off).
2. Connect one DIAG terminal on diagnosis connect terminal No. 1, Fig. 4.
3. While warning light is flashing, contact other DIAG terminal on terminal No. 2 for at least 3 seconds.
4. After memory is cleared, the warning light will flash every .6 seconds. Memory cannot be cleared if any problem exists.
