MEASURE TCM SIGNAL VOLTAGE INPUTMeasure TCM Input Signal Voltage:
1. Raise vehicle and place on safety stands.
CAUTION: On AWD models, raise all wheels off floor.
2. Start engine and set vehicle to 12 mph.
3. Measure signal voltage input of TCM.

CHECK HARNESSES AND CONNECTORS BETWEEN TCM AND VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR 1
Check Harness And Connectors Between TCM And Speed Sensor 1:
1. Unplug TCM connector.
2. Unplug connector from transmission.
3. Measure resistance between TCM connector and transmission connector.
Connector & Terminal Resistance
(B53) 15 - (B9) 16 0 ohms
(B53) 15 - body 1 M ohms, min.
(B53) 16 - (B9) 9 0 ohms
(B53) 16 - body 1 M ohms, min.
CHECK VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR 1
Check Vehicle Speed Sensor 1:
1. Unplug connector from transmission.
2. Measure resistance between transmission connector receptacle terminals.
Connector & Terminal Resistance
(T4) 16 - 9 450 - 650 ohms
