Exhaust System: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Spray rear pipe to muffler and front pipe to rear pipe fasteners with penetrating spray and let them soak for 5 minutes.

Converter To Rear Pipe Connection:

2. Disconnect rear pipe from front pipe.

Rear Pipe To Muffler Connection:

3. Disconnect rear pipe from muffler.

Removing Rear Pipe:

4. Remove rear pipe hanger and remove pipe.
5. Remove muffler hanger and remove muffler.

INSTALLATION

Exhaust Components:

Install in reverse order with the following notes:
^ Use new gaskets.
^ Torque all fasteners according to the illustration.
