Legacy Starters

After thorough inspection of Legacy warranty replaced starter assemblies, we found a majority of starters had drive mechanism problems. The drive unit or over running clutch assembly is available through normal Parts channels. Refer to your Parts microfiche or latest Parts catalog for specific part number information. Warranty procedures require repairs to the starter, not assembly replacements.
