Fuel Tank:

PURPOSE
Storage container for fuel.

LOCATION
Under the rear of the vehicle

CONSTRUCTION
Houses the fuel pump, and fuel gauge sending unit. The fuel tank cap incorporates a valve that prevents fuel vapors from escaping as well as allowing air to displace the fuel as it is used.
