Installation
1. Install duty solenoid B (lock up) and torque the two bolts shown above with solid arrows to 8 Nm (5.8 ft.lbs). Do not tighten the other two bolts at this time.
2. Install shift solenoids 1, 2, 3, and duty solenoid A (line pressure) and torque to 8 Nm (5.8 ft.lbs).
3. Secure accumulator springs using vaseline.
4. Align manual valve connections.
5. Torque duty solenoid B (lock up) bracket and two bolts from step 1 to 8 Nm (5.8 ft.lbs).
6. Install oil strainer, oil pipe, and harness connector bracket and torque to 7 - 9 Nm (5.1 - 6.5 ft.lbs).
7. Connect harness connectors at all five places as shown. Connect connectors of same color, and secure connectors to valve body using clips.
8. Install oil pan and new gasket. Torque to 3.4 - 4.4 Nm (2.5 - 3.3 ft.lbs).
9. Add ATF. Start engine and check ATF at idle, add as necessary and check for leaks.
