Removal

1. Clean Transmission exterior thoroughly.
2. Drain ATF completely.
3. Replace drain plug and torque to 23 - 26 Nm (17 - 20 ft.lbs).
4. Remove oil pan and gasket.






5. Remove connectors from clips and disconnect connectors at all five places as shown.






6. Disconnect oil pipe by removing the two bolts, and remove the four bolts and the oil strainer.

Note: Place a container or drip pan underneath as there will be oil that will flow out of the strainer and valve body when removed.






7. Remove the 8 long (black) bolts and the 11 short (yellow) bolts.






8. Remove shift solenoids 1, 2, 3, and duty solenoid A.
