Parking Brake System: Adjustments

1. Pull parking brake lever three to five times. Mechanism should click six to seven times when a force of 55 lbs. is exerted on the lever.

2. If lever operation is not as specified, rotate the equalizer cable adjustment nut until play at "A" in Fig. 5, is set at 0-0.02 inch (0-0.5mm).
3. Tighten adjuster locknut. Refer to Steering and Suspension for tightening specifications.
