Wire Harness and Connector Repair

The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wiring harness is entirely covered with a yellow protective conduit, and can easily be distinguished from harnesses of other systems. Do not attempt to repair SRS wiring harness or electrical connectors. Replace the harness if connectors or harness are found to be damaged or opened, or if a designated Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is output during self-diagnosis.
