Operation

Fuel Pump:

PURPOSE
Provides pressurized fuel to the injectors.

Fuel Tank:

LOCATION
Submerged in fuel tank.

OPERATION
It consists of a motor, a vane roller pump, and a check valve to prevent pressure bleed-off when the engine is off. The fuel pump shares its mounting cage with the fuel gauge sending unit.
