Fuel Tank: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
Storage container for fuel. Houses the fuel pump, and fuel gauge sending unit. The fuel tank cap incorporates a valve that prevents fuel vapors from escaping as well as allowing air to displace the fuel as it is used.
